Allen E. Houser aka Mysterious Po, Musician/Producer:
Allen has been recording professionally for over 10 years, creating with Cubase, Pro Tools, Maschine, Reason, and many other industry applications. Allen has also been the lead producer for DAP, Disappearing Act Productions, a group created by himself and a childhood friend, Lamar Threats. Allen is known as a composer, arranger, audio engineer, musical director and even an artist represented throughout Gaston County, North Carolina. His recording career started in 2007, when he formed his own professional studio. Self-taught, “Po”, developed and created his own sound in the art as a producer, while he put together a group of friends and family members as his artists.
After forming the rap group Dream Team, “Po’s” wife developed the female version of the group and named them Dream Team Queens. With these two groups, Allen started promoting and advertising the artists by presenting them in musical showcases throughout the city, while traveling from place to place representing his skills and the talents of his loved ones. In 2010 Allen's skills were recognized by the music he produced, for Dream Team Queens' debut album titled “Living Dream”, and their second album “Generated”, both released worldwide through Tate Music Group.
During his many years as recording engineer, “Po” has experienced, seen, and worked with some of the, industry's legendary rap artists, such as MC Sparky Dee and five time Grammy recipients, producer Dave “Jam” Hall. Additionally, Allen traveled throughout the nation as Dream Team Queens' producers, and Sound Manager for live shows. This tour included sharing the stage such, with gospel veterans, as Dr. Bobby Jones and Def Jam A&R Wise McGriff. As a freelance record and music producer “Po” work ranges in style from Hip-hop/rap, Gospel, R & B and Soul through his love for diversity in music. Allen, “Po”, is the founder of DAP: Disappearing Act Productions as well as From Da Ground Up Records, where he produces and develops local artist talent regularly.
